Persuasive opinion essay topics can be quite tricky. Even with a strong understanding of the difference between 'opinion'opinion writing' there are so many different variations that a speaker could get tripped up while crafting their opinion. I've included a few things to look for in order to help your first speech or essay stand out above the rest.
The first thing you want to do is lay down a simple concept that is simply compelling enough to grab attention. We always think of products as a simple concept; we don't have to go into a description of how much they cost or why people should buy them. Some people would even call that a 'gimmick.' You can make a great argument with simple information, or you can get the most out of it by providing some form of 'action'. Your argument should make the listener want to do something; they should want to do something more and then you have their attention.
